(ANSA) - MOSCOW, OCTOBER 05 - The Russian journalist Marina Ovsyannikova, who became famous last March for having shown a sign live on Russian television against the military operation in Ukraine, has released a video in which she declares herself innocent of the accusations made a few days after she removed from house arrest where she had to remain awaiting a sentence for another proceeding.
"I consider myself completely innocent - she says the journalist - and since our State refuses to respect its own laws, starting from September 30 I refuse to observe the preventive measure in the form of house arrest and to release myself".
Ovsyannikova, rend posted the video about her not knowing where she is.
On October 1, her husband, also a journalist, said that her wife had gone away taking her 11-year-old daughter with her.
Marina Ovsyannikova, the newspaper website Kommersant announced, posted her video on her Telegram channel.
A journalist, already fined in recent months for his protests against the operation in Ukraine, was supposed to remain under house arrest until October 9 pending the sentence for a solitary demonstration held in August not far from the Kremlin, during which he harshly criticized President Vladimir Putin.
