Tax: Mef, 8 months revenue + 13.4% with inflation and VAT

ANSA Lavoro - ROME, OCTOBER 05 - In the period January-August 2022 tax revenues amounted to 343,704 million euros, with an increase of 40,692 million euros compared to the same period of the previous year (+ 13.4%).

The "significant" increase in revenue - explains the Mef - is mainly influenced by three factors: by the dragging of the positive effects on the revenues that were determined starting from 2021, by the effects of the Relaunch and August decrees which had arranged extensions and suspended, and by the effects of increase in consumer prices which have influenced, in particular, the increase in VAT revenue.
