"Delivery note inside": Users suspect "gender madness" with package stickers - and are wrong

On the Internet, users are outraged about "gender madness".
The reason: On packages from Amazon, DHL and Co., even the word delivery note is now gendered.
Hanover – Posts from outraged users who feel overwhelmed by “gender madness” are circulating on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Co.
They post posts of photos presenting their packages on the web.
In focus: An inscription that, as the users suspect, changed the word "delivery note" - with an appended "inside".

But even the toughest advocates of gender will admit that “delivery note” cannot be reduced to a feminine form.
One user is sure that the parcel suppliers have not done themselves any favors either.
After all, there is a space in the designation between “delivery note” and “inside”: “Without a gender star or gap, there are still complaints from the bubble,” he suspects.

Another user writes: "Stop the gender madness, I can't take it anymore".
Many others ask themselves: “How absurd is it supposed to get?
Are delivery notes being changed now?”.
A user replies: "Otherwise the female delivery notes will certainly feel excluded." Most recently, Heiner Lauterbach also criticized the gender language.
Scooter frontman HP Baxxter also finds gender "sick".

With all the excitement, however, a user also spoke up, clarifying: “I come from the parcel industry and have to disappoint you”.
He explains: “The delivery note inside means nothing more than that the delivery note is in the package and not on the package.
Has nothing to do with gender".
A term that is only intended to describe the location of the delivery note became an involuntary part of a discussion with which it has absolutely nothing to do.
