Hollywood producer Eric Weinberg has been charged with 18 counts of sexual assault.
Five women have made allegations against the 62-year-old, prosecutors in Los Angeles said on Wednesday.
Weinberg is said to have abused her between 2014 and 2019.
The accused used his Hollywood status to lure young women into his home under the pretext of photo shoots, where he allegedly abused them, prosecutor George Gascón said.
The allegations include rape, forced oral sex and assault.
Weinberg is scheduled to appear before the magistrate on October 25.
He was initially released on bail of five million dollars (around five million euros).
More than two dozen women described alleged attacks by Weinberg in conversations with the "Hollywood Reporter", the trade journal reported on Wednesday.
The first cases would date back to 2000.
The producer had already been arrested in 2014.
However, due to a lack of evidence, no charges were filed at the time.
Weinberg has written and produced in numerous productions, including around one hundred episodes of the hit comedy Scrubs, starring Zach Braff as a young doctor, from 2002 to 2006.
He also worked on series such as Graves, Californian and Anger Management.
He was nominated five times for the Emmy television award.
