in the northern city of Na Klang, targeting children and adults.
The children killed in the raid were between two and three years old, police said.
The attacker escaped in a car and hit several pedestrians.
Eventually he killed his family and then took his own life.
The man was 34 and was a former policeman who had recently been fired.
