The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the competition of the Martyr Basil al-Assad Prize for Scientific Research for the year 2022 under the title (Scientific Research, Tomorrow’s Future in Syria Work) for the best scientific research characterized by originality and creativity, carried out by researchers in Syrian universities and higher government institutes.
In its announcement, which SANA received a copy of today, the ministry stated that the fields of the award include basic, engineering, medical, fine arts, agricultural, veterinary, social, philosophical, educational, psychological, linguistic, economic, political, administrative, legal and Sharia sciences.
To participate in the competition, whose financial reward for this year is 2 million Syrian pounds, it is required that the scientific research submitted to obtain it is distinguished by its originality and creativity, and provides an important addition to knowledge or application that serves scientific and civilization progress and the process of comprehensive development, and is completely completed in Syrian universities or government higher institutes and written in Arabic. Or translated into Arabic with the research attached to the foreign text, and no more than two years have passed since the publication of the research from the date of the announcement.
Those interested can submit their applications to participate in the competition to the Directorate of Scientific Research in the Ministry from next Sunday until January 9, 2023.
