From the path, you can see a metal fence that surrounds this huge forest property in Vannes-sur-Cosson (Loir-et-Cher).
On the other side, the soil is turned over, as if plowed.
“Boars and deer come up against this barrier, they are prisoners.
And as they trample there, nothing grows any more”, shows Raymond Louis, president of the association of Friends of the paths of Sologne.
He is "revolted" by these some 4000 km of fences, according to the counts, which enclose this vast forest spread over three departments: Loir-et-Cher, Loiret, and Cher.
