Kaufland with special customer service: direct application on site
Right next to the customer information, Kaufland offers its customers help on a wide variety of issues at a digital terminal: In addition to price checks, digital offers and the Kaufland card, the customer terminal now also offers a new function.
Anyone interested in a job can apply for a job with the company directly on site nationwide.
The applicants are supported by the specially developed chatbot “Kala” from the Kaufland recruiting team.
- The name is a play on words from "Kaufland".
With the help of specific questions, customers should be guided to the desired position.
“We already use social networks such as Instagram and TikTok for our recruiting, but also target group platforms and Google.
Now we are breaking new ground with our own digital service directly in our branches,” says Franziska Knoll, Head of Human Resources at Kaufland.
In minutes to a new job - thanks to "Kala"
"Kala" shows interested parties all the available positions in the Kaufland branch they visited - in the middle of the supermarket shelves, which have often remained empty lately because there are no products due to the Ukraine war.
But it also allows a search in an extended radius of 15 kilometers.

Anyone who has found a suitable position can now look at all the details at the customer terminal and then apply for it within a few minutes.
