The healthy leafy vegetables are also rich in plant-based protein, B vitamins, vitamin C and vitamin K, and minerals such as magnesium and iron.

The fact that oatmeal is a good food for losing weight is due to the fact that the fiber it contains fills you up quickly and for a longer period of time.

Oats are also rich in minerals, protein, vitamins and iron, which helps prevent nutrient deficiencies during the diet.

Lose weight: green smoothie with spinach and oatmeal – recipe

Ingredients for about 4 servings

250 g spinach leaves (fresh or frozen)


5 tbsp rolled oats


2 bananas


300 g blueberries


200 ml apple juice


150 ml grapefruit juice


600 ml water


4 tbsp almond butter


Some lemon juice (to taste)

preparation

Thaw or wash and drain the spinach.

Peel and slice bananas.

Wash the berries, put them in a blender with the apple and grapefruit juice (and optionally lemon juice) and 600 ml water.

Add the bananas, berries, spinach, oat flakes and almond butter, first on a low level and then finely puree on the highest level until the shake is creamy.

If desired, add a little more water to thin it out and mix again briefly.

Pour the drink into glasses – enjoy your meal!
