(ANSA) - PARIS, 06 OCT - "I will fight until my last breath so that women can choose whether to be mothers or not: contraception and the right to abortion are a fundamental right, the matrix of women's freedom": the French writer said neo Nobel Prize for Literature, Annie Ernaux, meeting the press at the headquarters of the publisher Gallimard in Paris.
Citing, among other things, the Italian political situation, with the coming to power of the Giorgio Meloni (Brothers of Italy) party, the writer criticized the far right which "in history has never been in favor of women".
