An eleven-year-old cyclist died in a traffic accident in Schenefeld near Hamburg in Schleswig-Holstein on Wednesday evening.
A truck driver overlooked the child when turning, the police in Itzehoe said.
The boy crossed the street at a pedestrian ford on red.
The truck caught him and dragged him a few meters.
The child was resuscitated at the scene of the accident, but still died from his serious injuries.
