The Brazilian beauty queen's joy at being crowned the winner of the pageant was short-lived after the host realized that she had actually lost - and took away the winner's crowning ribbon that was placed on her.
This hilarious moment happened during Miss Goias held in Brazil last week, when the ribbon for the winner was placed on the model Ana Livia Diniz, 23 years old.
Footage from the event, which Diniz shared on her Instagram page, shows the moment she cries with joy after receiving the ribbon before the presenter takes it off her and crowns the candidate standing next to her.
"This is the shame I went through yesterday," the young woman wrote on her social network page when she posted the video.
"I am angry at the lack of organization of the event. This moment is extremely important for those who have dedicated themselves so much to the cause."

Diniz said the person in charge of Miss Goyas' ceremony announced her name before realizing he had said the wrong name, and removed the ribbon from her.
"It is very irresponsible to announce a wrong result, put the tape on me and then remove it," Diniz wrote.
Diniz said she received an apology from the host, and was officially presented as the third place winner of the beauty pageant.

While the loser asked her followers not to attack the girl who won the title, she found humor in her experience, saying: "I understand you, Miss Colombia!".
Diniz's joke referred to the moment when comedian and host Steve Harvey crowned Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez Arbelo as the winner of the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, before going back and announcing Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach as the actual winner of the pageant.
