(ANSA) - ROME - The challenge between amateur chefs has begun to compete for the title of champion of the Tiramisù Word Cup 2022 (Twc), a competition scheduled in Treviso from 7 to 9 October.
The event, organized in the orangery set up in the Venetian city in Piazza dei Signori, includes a competition between non-professional chefs who will try their hand at the original recipe of the spoon dessert (eggs, sugar, mascarpone, ladyfingers, coffee and cocoa) or in the creative recipe , with the possibility of adding up to three ingredients and replacing the biscuit.
The jury of the final will be chaired by "La Cucina Italiana, a gastronomic magazine active since 1929 and media partner of the review, which will also award the Special Prize for the Best Tiramisu 2022. The winners of the Twc will see their recipes published in the gastronomic magazine for the number in November, in addition to receiving digital coverage of the website and social networks. With the 2022 edition it will be possible to taste the "best in the world" Tiramisu, by the champions of the previous editions of the Twc, at the Loggia dei Cavalieri: Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 (10.00 am - 6.00 pm), the public will have the opportunity to meet and converse with those who have produced the recipes that have won in the past, accompanying the dessert with a glass of wine (ANSA).
