Bei launches InvestEU Italia, € 264m for first four projects

(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 07 - The InvestEU European program also starts in Italy, with the first four operations that will move a total of 264 million euros.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) will allocate 45 million euros to AcqueBresciane to enhance the coverage, quality and resilience of wastewater services in the Province of Brescia;

30 million euros will instead be invested by the European Investment Fund (EIF) in Xenon FIDEC to promote the circular economy.

The EIF will also give another 100 million euros of guarantee to Intesa Sanpaolo to support the investments and liquidity needs of innovative SMEs and small Mid-caps or to support their digital and ecological transition.

Finally, 84 million euros of Fei guarantee will go to MediocreditoTrentino-Alto Adige Sp
