Two kilometers of bookstore along the arcades of the center and 140 appointments related to the book, because "in Turin, culture is a walk": Portici di Carta, the literary event that transforms Turin into one of the longest open-air bookstores in the world and into an extraordinary celebration of the book community, returns on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October with its fifteenth edition.
A cultural program characterized by meetings, dialogues, editorial celebrations, authorial dedications, literary walks and tastings, readings, workshops for girls and boys, pictorial actions in the square, read aloud, welcoming writers and writers from all over Italy, librarians, librarians, teachers and volunteers.
After a few years of absence, international authors and authors return to Portici di Carta, as in the original spirit of the event, the guest publishers return, who for this fifteenth edition will be Edizioni and / or and Camelozampa, and the dedication to emblematic personalities of the Italian fiction: the necessary memory, including meetings and literary walks, will go to Fruttero & Lucentini, fifty years after the publication of La donna della Domenica, ten years after Fruttero's death and twenty years after Lucentini's death.
A tribute also to Piero Angela, from Turin and a longtime friend of the Turin International Book Fair.
