House of the Dragon: The Children of Houses Targaryen and Velaryon

In the fantasy series "House of the Dragon" there are more and more children, some of whom are not so easy to distinguish from each other.

In order to get to know the young actors and their roles better, there is a small round of introductions.

The first major time warp in the House of the Dragon series, after which some characters look different, has swept a new generation into Houses Targaryen and Velaryon.

They play a special role in the episode "Driftmark".

But who actually belongs to whom and what the connections are, is sometimes not so easy to see through in such a short time.

Aegon Targaryen is played by 20-year-old Ty Tennant ("War of the Worlds") as a teenager.

Aegon is the eldest son of King Viserys I (Paddy Considin) and his second wife Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke).

Although his half-sister Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) is promised the throne, his mother and grandfather (Rhys Ifans) convince him that Aegon deserves the throne.

He rides the dragon Sunfyre.
