Protests which led to the shutdown of three of the six French refineries, operated by the TotalEnergies or ExxonMobil groups, following a strike launched by the CGT.
This contributes to a lack of fuel in French stations where queues accumulate.

Laurent Berger however criticized the decision of the CGT to engage "
only the balance of power without going to the end of the logic which is to negotiate and to record a compromise by an agreement

At ExxonMobil, the discussions have already led to “a certain number of achievements”, notably judged Mr. Berger, whose positions are traditionally more favorable to negotiation than those of the CGT.
