A brewery is recalling one of their soft drinks.
Canned lemonade can have undesirable side effects.
Neumünster - The Wittorfer brewery from Neumünster is starting a product recall.
It's her canned lemonade.
According to the manufacturer, fermentation may occur in the can.
This could result in the formation of small amounts of alcohol.
There could also be additional formation of carbonic acid.
As a result, the can bursts open in the worst case.

Product recall of fizzy lemonade, formation of alcohol is possible
"With our Stadtbrause lemon with the MHD 13.03.2023, fermentation can occur in the can," warns the brewery on its website and via the portal of the Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety.
"As a result, small amounts of alcohol and additional carbon dioxide develop and the can can burst open." The warning applies to the federal states of Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein.
The brewery asks its customers to dispose of the corresponding cans.
Customers could return the product in the store.
You will be refunded the purchase price even without presenting a receipt.
