The energy efficiency actions in the public administration could be included among the criteria for attributing the so-called
"efficiency dividend"
, introduced in 2009 by Renato Brunetta, which allows to use
a part of the savings
deriving from cost reductions
to finance the supplementary bargaining
and activate the rewarding institutions provided for by Legislative Decree 150/2009.
This was announced by the Department of Public Administration which in a circular invites administrations to include
energy saving
among the Piao objectives of "Public value, performance, anti-corruption" (Integrated plan of activities and organization).
