(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 12 - The Assize Court of Palermo has sentenced Pietro Morreale, 21, of Caccamo (Pa) to life imprisonment for murder.
He is accused of murdering his girlfriend Roberta Siragusa, only 17, on the night between 23 and 24 January 2020. According to the accusation, Pietro argued with the victim during a dinner with friends.
The couple would drive away and reach the sports field.
The boy would hit Robert with a stone and kill her, then set her on fire with some gasoline in his car and watch it burn.
He would then load her body into the car and throw it in a ditch.
