(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 12 - First of all we need "unity among us.

   In the coming days we will choose group leaders, vice presidents" and others "very few positions that we will have. Many of you could aspire to these positions but only some will have them".

We need the "awareness that these choices in politics must be made" and this creates "contentment and discontent", but "the unity between us is fundamental".

The secretary of the Democratic Party Enrico Letta said at the assembly of dem parliamentarians.
