“She was a good actress, one of the best, one of Hollywood's iconic actresses,” a fan explained.
Angela Lansbury, British naturalized American, has acted in several feature films such as "The Portrait of Dorian Gray", in 1945, or "Death on the Nile", in 1978. Nominated three times for the Oscars, and crowned with an Oscar of Honor in 2013 for her entire career, the naturalized American actress was one of the glories of the golden age of Hollywood cinema.
But it is above all her role as Jessica Fletcher, author of detective novels and outstanding investigator, in "Arabesque", which marked several generations and earned her four of her six Golden Globes.
The American series “Arabesque”, 264 episodes, was broadcast on CBS between 1984 and 1996, and has had multiple reruns, particularly in France.
