EVTOL X2, the flying car of the Chinese company XPeng, made its first public flight, outside China, on Monday in Dubai, under the eyes of several dozen people who came for the occasion.
A demonstration flight that lasted 90 minutes.
The small machine, without a passenger on board, flew at a height of 10 m.
“We are now in the research process, we are moving step by step towards the international market and we have selected the city of Dubai first because Dubai is the most innovative city in the world,” explained Minguan Qiu, the director. general of XPeng.
Intended for the wealthiest, this vehicle can accommodate two passengers and does not emit carbon dioxide, explains its manufacturer.

The car, equipped with an intelligent flight control system and autonomous flight capabilities, can travel up to 130 km/h and weighs 760 kg.
According to the American media Electrek, XPeng plans to market the vehicle by 2025 for a price that should be around 162,000 euros.
