A year after he was forced to cancel his world tour due to the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, which resulted in his performance in Israel being canceled as well, Al Stewart is returning to perform - and will perform in Israel next month, in what should be his first appearance here.
The performance of the British singer, who will be accompanied by the American rock band The Empty Pockets, will take place on November 8 at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv Port.
Ticket prices will start at NIS 249.
Stewart is considered a key figure in the development of British music, having played at the first Glastonbury Festival in 1970. He worked with Yoko Ono even before she did with John Lennon and even shared a flat in his youth with one, Paul Simon.
Stewart's last studio album, Sparks Of Ancient Light, was released in 2008.
It was the 16th album from the singer-songwriter, known for his hits "Year Of The Cat", "On The Border", and "Time Passages".
