At the age of 22, the dog Pebbles has reached old age and secured an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.
But now the fox terrier has passed away.
At the beginning of the year, the bitch Pebbles was named the oldest dog in the world and thus received an entry in the Guinness Book of Records.
The little Fox Terrier Chihuahua was born on March 28, 2000 and passed away just five months before her 23rd birthday.
"She was a once-in-a-lifetime companion and we were honored to have her as a pet and family member," her family said in a statement on Instagram.

Actually, their owners Bobby and Julie Gregory were looking for a big dog back then.
But when they met Pebbles in 2000, they fell in love with her immediately.
Also male Rocky had his eye on the enchanting lady.
Together they fathered a total of 32 puppies.

On October 3, 2022, surrounded by her family, she closed her eyes forever.
"Pebbles lived a long and happy life," shares her family.
The bitch was probably one of the dog breeds that live particularly long.
On the Instagram account dedicated to Pebbles, Julie Gregory posts loving information about her darling's exciting and exciting life.

The dog owned dozens of dresses, including a festive pumpkin hat and tons of accessories, and her owners say her favorite country songs are Conway Twitty and Dwight Yoakam.
In deep sadness, her family captioned the post by saying, "There was no one who met Pebbles who didn't love her.
We will miss them very much."
