This only happens very rarely in the cinema: “Smile”, an American horror film by Parker Finn released at the end of September, accumulated more admissions in the second week of operation than during its premiere.
In detail, 243,762 spectators saw the film in France between October 5 and 11, compared to 226,686 between September 28 and October 4.
This total of more than 470,000 admissions, still on the rise since the film is still showing, confirms its success internationally, and a growing enthusiasm for the horror genre in France.
