This is the right way to eat kiwi (TIKTOK/@CWKNIX)
You must be sure that you know how to eat kiwi, because why wouldn't you know?
But you don't really know.
It turns out that there is a more convenient and faster method to enjoy the delicious fruit - and those of you who avoided eating it because you were too lazy to peel it, will no longer have to deal with it.
TikTok user Nix Adams (@cwknix) admits that for years we have been nibbling on the wrong fruit.
In a short video that garnered almost half a million views, she demonstrated the method she had learned and viewers were left stunned.
She said: "I am 35 years old and only now have I understood how to eat kiwi."
If, like the rest of us, you peeled the fruit and then spread it into small pieces - or cut it in half and scooped out the juicy contents with a spoon - there is an easier way!
Look how she does it:

First, make sure the fruit is fully ripe and then mash its insides with your hands.
"You have to mash it all up and squeeze it," Nix shows viewers as she squeezes the fruit with her thumbs.
As soon as you feel pulp forming inside, cut off the top and shove the juicy fruit straight into your mouth as if it were a shlock.
The trick will make your life much easier - if you also don't have the energy to bother peeling and cutting this rough fruit.
The viewers liked the method and promised to try it.
"I've been doing it for a few years because I'm lazy," wrote one who had already tried and another added: "Wow, it looks really simple. Going to buy it for me."
Another viewer wrote: "To this day I cut in half and took out with a spoon. This seems a much more comfortable way than mine. Totally going to adopt it."
