In honor of their excellence in the Russian language, 9 students who were selected from the schools of outstanding students and the sons and daughters of martyrs in Damascus will participate in the “which will be held in Russia on the 19th of October.
During his meeting with the students participating in the camp at the ministry building today, the Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, stressed the importance of this participation in terms of exchanging experiences between students and getting to know their culture and civilization, noting the importance of such camps to develop the skills of Syrian students, introduce their capabilities and represent their country in the best way.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Ayman Mahmoud, the instructor of the Russian education subject in the Damascus Education Directorate, stated that the camp lasts for 21 days, and includes educational, recreational and sports activities, in addition to introductory trips, noting that the camp comes within the cooperation agreement between the Ministries of Education in Syria and Russia.
