Germany-wide Lidl recall: danger from metal parts - manufacturer takes product off the shelf

A Lidl product is now affected by a nationwide recall.
It cannot be ruled out that there are unwanted foreign metal objects in the package.
Bad Wimpfen – Because it cannot be ruled out that the package contained foreign metal objects, a Lidl product is now being recalled.
As the discounter announced on Thursday in Bad Wimpfen, the Spanish manufacturer Borges Agricultural & Industrial Nuts, SA is recalling its product due to possible health risks.
The item was sold throughout Germany.

The affected product is therefore fried almond halves.
The product affected is “Sol&Mar Fried almond halves with sugar, honey and salt” in the 150 gram pack.
The product has an expiration date of June 20, 2023, and batch 1114724 is affected. The product was sold in Lidl branches throughout Germany.
It cannot be ruled out that the package contained foreign metal objects, it was said as a justification.
The product can be returned in all Lidl branches.
The purchase price will be refunded.
Other products sold by Lidl in Germany from the manufacturer Borges Agricultural & Industrial Nuts, SA and other Sol&Mar branded items are not affected by the recall.
Meanwhile, a brewery recalls one of their soft drinks.
