STORY - Dismantled in the 18th century, the spectacular Fountain of Hercules has just been reborn in the gardens of Venaria Reale, at the gates of Turin, in the form of an assumed recreation.

No one had ever seen her round her white basin, nor push her aquatic rockets towards the sky around the statue of the most famous hero of mythology.

And for good reason: for almost three centuries, the grandiose Fountain of Hercules in Venaria Reale, at the gates of Turin, had been dead and buried and only survived through a few engravings.

In the early days of summer, it was therefore neither the Grand Parterre, nor the royal vegetable garden or the fishpond that attracted the public to the radiant gardens of the former residence of the royal family of Savoy, but the Renaissance, under the form of an unclassifiable monument, of this fascinating water theater after seven years of work.

In the middle of the perspective that opens behind the palace, two paths hug, to the right and to the left, the depression formed by the ground.
