(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 15 - The bicentenary ceremony of the Forest Administration took place today at the ScuolaForestale Carabinieri.
On the occasion of the anniversary that dates back to October 15, 1822, the date officially indicated as the birth of the former State Forestry Corps, the Arma dei Carabinieri, which since 2017 has absorbed the corps and staff duties, wanted to promote, through the Command of Forestry, Environmental and Agri-food , a series of initiatives that took place during the current year with the aim of remembering the precious contribution offered by this Administration to the protection of the natural and environmental heritage.
Today's event concluded the celebrations.
Among others, the General Commander of the Carabinieri, General CA Teo Luzi, the Prefect of Rieti, Dr.
Gennaro Capo, the Commander of the Carabinieri Forestry, Environmental and Agro-food Units, General CA Antonio Pietro Marzo, the President of the Municipal Council of Rieti, Claudio Valentini, the Mayor of Cittaducale, Leonardo Ranalli.
