are colored and filled with the installations, the rethought polyptychs, the terracotta sculptures, the woods, the bronzes, the canvases of the Virus Group, a combative collective of artists who have long been their creative base in Corviale.

    Entitled

"Naples-New York-Corviale", the exhibition, which opens tomorrow 15 October, is a project promoted by the Special Superintendency of Rome

and dedicated to the works of Giulio Ceraldi, Consuelo Chierici, Stefano De Santis and Giancarlo Savino, the four members of the collective that has its roots in Naples in the 70s and was among the first in Italy to engage in public art.

    A project "the result of an uncommon concept of cultural heritage, of their protection and enhancement", underlines the superintendent Daniela Porro, who was the curator of this exhibition together with Alessio De Cristofaro and Jonathan Giustini.

"The osmotic relationship with the territory - he explains - the heritage education courses for children and young people, the third age university, the meetings, conferences and shows built with the realities of the neighborhood, the program of exhibitions on unusual themes , the attention to inclusion make this reality unique in the capital ".


    Admission is free as for all the initiatives of the Portuense Necropolis Circuit, which includes the archaeological area of ​​Pozzo Pantaleo, where next to a paved stretch of the ancient Via Campana, there are the remains of a rest station and a thermal plant, the necropolis of Vigna Pia, the sumptuous tomb of via Ravizza, recently reopened, as well as the museum, just renovated with new lighting, a multimedia installation, accessible panels, the maintenance and restoration of monuments and finds.

 Also scheduled for the near future is a photographic exhibition ("The Divine Inspiration. Fellini and Pasolini at Divino Amore") and a review on the relationship between art and mental illness ("L'Art Brut").

The exhibition is always open.
