(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 15 - "Not even one hundred thousand Russian soldiers killed in war will make the Kremlin think", said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi in his usual evening video message.
"We are doing everything to reduce the capacity of the occupants, the ability of the Russian army to bring terror to Ukrainian soil. We are constantly destroying the logistics of the terrorists, their warehouses and headquarters," said the head of state.
And he recalled that the enemy's total losses in terms of killed soldiers are approaching sixty-five thousand: "Many Russian citizens gave their lives for the decision of a handful of people in the Kremlin to ignore the reality."
"And according to the way the 'burial of the Russians' continues, we can say that even a hundred thousand dead Russian citizens will not make the Kremlin think," said the head of state.
He stressed that "only real victories for Ukraine, only real protection by the world free from Russian terror and blackmail - protection with sanctions, protection with help from Ukraine - only the complete displacement of the occupiers from the Ukrainian land and the dismantling of the aggressive capacities of one. Terrorist state: all this is the way to peace ".
"Peace will become possible when Russian terror becomes impossible," Zelensky stressed.
