The imagery of this splendid maritime and floral album – between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, two very fashionable movements in Paris in the 1930s – refers to the initiatory journey of a pioneer of autofiction, erotic literature, and of polyamory, of which the three pages that we publish describe a way of culmination: after many meanders, Anaïs Nin has found her place, as a lover and as a creator.
