Before La Revue des Deux Mondes, the 60-year-old journalist was the head of the women's magazine
Elle
from 2002 to 2014 .
She is also the wife of Franz-Olivier Giesbert, former director and still a columnist for Le
Point.
In a message published in the evening of Monday evening on Twitter, Valérie Toranian said she was
“very happy to soon join the Point team.
