(ANSA) - LONDON, OCTOBER 19 - New jolt in the Tory British government of Liz Truss, committed to trying to save herself less than two months after her arrival in Downing Street after the sensational flop, backtracking in tax matters.
The premier, according to the Guardian online, has decided to sacrifice another hawk of the company, the controversial anti-immigration minister of the interior, Suella Braverman, after having liquidated the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Kwasi Kwarteng last week.
Braverman is destined to be replaced by the more moderate Grant Shapps, former Minister of Transport with Boris Johnson and a supporter of Rishi Sunak against Truss herself.
