Exchange: Hong Kong negative, opens at -1.70%

(ANSA) - BEIJING, OCTOBER 20 - The Hong Kong Stock Exchange opens the session with a sharp correction: the Hang Seng index marks a drop of 1.70% in the early stages, at 16,230.79 points.

The Shanghai Composite lost 0.50% to 3,029.30 in the early stages, while that of Shenzhen fell 0.63% to 1,969.32.
