This 34-year-old grandson of King Béhanzin, raised in Benin and living in France, explores his royal roots through large frescoes on strips of bed sheets soaked in voodoo potions and then sewn together.
Launched by the Parisian gallery owner Éric Dupont, it is a hit with Cécile Fakhoury, the Paris branch of the all-powerful Abidjan gallery (from 1,000 to 40,000 euros).
