(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 20 - New strike by the Polish premier, Mateusz Morawiecki, against Germany.
"Russian gas, theoretically cheap, was supposed to be a blessing for Germany and became a curse for all of Europe", said the premier, entering the top of European leaders.
"Today all countries are seeing the failure of the German-Russian policy", underlined Morawiecki, who then reiterated the Polish recipe for coping with expensive energy, namely the suspension of the EU emissions trading system (Ets) and the introduction of a ceiling on the price of gas.
"The Member States - he concluded - must understand that EU regulations in the energy sector are also used by Russia for energy blackmail".
