(ANSA) - TOKYO, OCTOBER 20 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts trading down, after the retracement of US indexes and the new rise in bond yields that anticipate the likelihood of a recession.
At the opening, the Nikkei lost 0.97% to 26,993.21, with a loss of 264 points.
On the foreign exchange market, the appreciation of the dollar against the yen temporarily stopped at 149.80, still at its highest in 32 years, while the euro traded at 146.30 against the Japanese currency.
