A couple shared on their Tik Tok account a particularly surprising method for choosing their vacation destination.

"Each of us chooses three places and writes them on separate notes," Eva Machado, an American nurse, explained her and her husband's planning process.

“One has to be within a six-hour drive from our home, the second has to be within the US or Canada, and the third has to be international.

We put all six in a hat."

After that, the choices are put into a hat, mixed well and found one by one. The last choice is the winner. In the video uploaded by Eva, the first destination that came up was San Diego, and it turned out that both couples proposed it. Then appeared Montreal in Canada, followed by Richmond in the state of Virginia. After that, Croatia advanced, which failed to reach the final round. Later, San Diego advanced again and finally - Spain.

In the end, the winning destination remains - Spain.

The website Travel and Leisure reports that so far, the video has garnered more than 6 million views, over 900,000 likes and more than 4,000 comments, with many commenters praising the couple for the friendly and fair nature of choosing a vacation destination.

"I can't wait to do it with my partner," wrote one of the respondents.

"I showed this video to my girlfriend, and now we're playing this game for my 40th birthday trip," another commenter added.

Some commenters pointed out that since they both chose San Diego as a must, they should have finished the game early and just driven there.
