According to the reports in the British newspaper The Sun, Lionel Dahmer claims that he was never contacted regarding the two series that came out about his son • Among other things, Dahmer was angry that Netflix revealed the recordings about his son in the docu-series without legal approval • "He is gathering information and considering a possible lawsuit" , said the father's therapist

Netflix caused an uproar:

Lionel Dahmer, Jeffrey Dahmer's father, is expected to sue Netflix after the two recently released series about his son - this was reported this morning (Friday) in the Sun.

According to reports, Lionel Dahmer, 86, claims he was never contacted about the popular series "Dahmer - Monster: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer", which was released in September.

As you remember, the story about the serial killer, who murdered 17 boys between 1978-1991, gained momentum around the world three decades after he was arrested.

Additionally, Dahmer's father resented the docu-series that came out a few weeks later about his son after Netflix never sought permission to use the tapes from his son's legal team.

"Great chaos was caused by these plans"

Lionel Dahmer lived quietly in rural Ohio keeping a low profile.

Since the release of the show and the renewed interest in his son, he has refused to talk.

The father's therapist told the Sun in a special interview that "as far as I know, Lionel has not been contacted about any of these shows on Netflix," he said.

Jeffrey Dahmer.

"I've personally spoken to several lawyers and we've spoken to his publisher about this as well because of all the chaos that's going on and the stories we've seen.

Lionel is gathering information and considering a possible lawsuit against the production team or perhaps against Netflix."
