More and more brands are flying off the shelves at supermarkets.
These include popular products such as Coca-Cola, Milka and Kellogg.
But where is something missing now?
Cologne – Whether at Rewe, Edeka or Aldi: customers are increasingly looking at empty supermarket shelves these days.
Due to price disputes, a number of branded products are gradually being phased out.
Among other things, Rewe recently removed the Kellogg's cereals.
But that is just one example of many.
24RHEIN lists which products are missing from which supermarkets and discounters.

Price dispute with Rewe and Edeka: That's what Mars says about the situation
In the course of the dispute over a price increase, US food manufacturer Mars has stopped deliveries to Rewe and Edeka and their discounter branches Penny and Netto.
The group told dpa in early October that the rising costs would be absorbed “internally as best as possible”.
"However, a certain amount of price adjustment is necessary".

Instead of the typical branded products, there are now more and more own brands on the shelves of supermarkets and discounters.
This is partly a result of the current disputes with manufacturers, but it is also a long-term trend.
In the summer of 2022, Rewe announced that it wanted to expand its discount brand “ja!” significantly.
But Aldi, Lidl, Kaufland and Netto have also massively advertised their own brands in recent weeks.
Energy crisis leads to price increases in supermarkets - even more empty shelves threaten
As more and more food manufacturers are increasing their prices, Rewe boss Lionel Souque had already warned of a price explosion in the summer.
But the energy crisis could have even more drastic consequences.
Because the Association of the Food Industry (VdEW) warned of a possible wave of bankruptcies in the food industry.
According to a survey by the VdEW, around 30 percent of German food manufacturers are "concretely threatened with insolvency".
