She had hit the headlines.
In 2016, Emily Ratajkowski showed up at the
Harper's Bazaar
party in a long graphic black dress with a maxi-neckline reaching down to the navel.
A halftone appearance that had marked the spirits, arousing fascination in some, disgust in others.
“Extremely vulgar”, “provocative”, could we then read on social networks and in certain tabloids.

This Friday, October 21, the 31-year-old model lent herself to the game of Harper's Bazaar magazine, commenting on video of her different looks that have become iconic.
Among them, the famous black dress signed by designer Julien Macdonald.
"This is the most controversial look I've ever worn," Sly's mom first commented.
And to continue: "I was in my twenties, I hadn't noticed that it was so sexy".
Emily Ratajkowski justified herself on the criticisms received after her appearance.
"We said I wanted to get attention," she says in the video.
An ironically interesting remark according to her, since "you just go on the red carpet to attract attention".
And to add: “I always think that I looked great”.
While the top model is not in her first controversy, often attacked for her outfits deemed too bare, she has become over time a spokesperson for the slogan "my body, my choice".
Fish net
In mid-October, she appeared once again in a most daring look, during the fiftieth anniversary of
W magazine:
a transparent fishnet dress, revealing a set of pink satin lingerie.
There is no doubt that the model with more than 29 million subscribers, freshly divorced from producer Sebastian Bear-McClard had turned heads again that evening.
Moreover, it seems that the latter is no longer single.
Indeed, she has since been seen in the arms of a very prominent DJ, named Orazio Rispo.
