Balenciaga ends relationship with Kanye West

The break is consummated between Balenciaga and Ye.

At the start of the year, the Parisian house and the rapper caused a stir by unveiling a capsule collection for the Gap brand.

A few weeks after inviting the 45-year-old artist to open its Spring/Summer 2023 show on Sunday October 2 at Paris Fashion Week, the label announces that their collaboration has come to an end.

During the presentation of the latest figures from the Kering group, parent company of the Parisian brand, a spokesperson for the company confirmed this rupture to

magazine  : "Balenciaga no longer maintains a link, and is not working on any project with the artist."

A statement that comes at the end of a succession of controversial speeches on the part of Kanye West, condemned in all directions.
