The 41-year-old "Renaissance" star appeared in full glam last Saturday (October 22), alongside her husband Jay-Z and her eldest daughter Blue Ivy, for the WACO Theater Center's fifth annual wearable art gala in Santa Monica, California.
Beyoncé wore a luxurious, but somewhat challenging dress by the Gucci fashion house, to which she has been loyal since her pregnancy with the twins Sir and Rumi.

The theme of this year's gala event - founded by her mother Tina Knowles-Lawson, and her stepfather Richard Lawson - was "The Harlem Renaissance", that is: a celebration of larger-than-life fashion from the 1920s to the 1950s, marked by Harlem meets style The Gatsby.
Therefore, Beyoncé oozed old Hollywood glam, but updated, in a strapless black-and-white Gucci dress.
The black satin gown featured a white sequined bodice with a pair of glittering stars strategically placed on the bust, and a long dramatic feather trail.
Beyoncé's main stylist (Zarina Akers) is not responsible for the look this time, but the stylist, and her cousin, KJ Moody, who decided that to complete the look for the dress, which embraced the world-famous chubby, he adds;
Cat black sunglasses, diamond drop earrings by Lorraine Schwartz, a chic clutch from Dolce Gabbana, and more - bright pink satin gloves (also by Joche), a la Marilyn Monroe in the iconic number she performed in the movie "

On the one hand, there is no doubt that Queen B understood the task.
On the other hand, the performance did turn heads, but not necessarily for the right reasons, as the whole look felt too busy.
Beyoncé and the stylist wanted to go for Old Hollywood style, but it mostly stayed a bit old, and was messy - especially 'thanks' to the not-so-careful hair styling that gave off an old-fashioned vibe.
Although in the photos that Beyonce and her team released to the media, the look still looks fine, apparently, and everything is in place.
But in the videos that were taken at the event and leaked, of course, to Insta, it can be seen that the star is not completely in her element.
It is obvious that she does not feel comfortable walking around with the dress, which even looks a little small for her measurements in the chest area.
Mom Tina Knowles knows how to throw fancy events, and the guests obey the dress code!

During the gala, the mega-talent officially announced the opening of the new tour - ""Renaissance Tour, which will begin in the summer of 2023 and will include America, Europe, Australia and other continents.
Dates and prices of the tour have not yet been revealed, but Beyoncé did manage to offer (and even sell to the highest bidder!) a package of tickets at an auction, which aims to support the WACO Theater and its work.
This is a prize that includes 2 tickets to the highly anticipated Renaissance tour, flights, a hotel and a guided behind-the-scenes tour with Miss Tina!
According to the reports published in these hours, the said package was sold for a huge sum of 50,000 dollars.

In a black velvet tuxedo and bow tie, his meticulous look complimented his first lady's over-the-top performance, allowing Beyoncé to be the center of attention for the evening.
The 10-year-old eldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who came with her parents to the gala event, wore a hot blue suit, dark sunglasses and accessorized with statement jewelry.
