Massive disturbances at Vodafone, Telekom and O2 - telephone and Internet affected

In Germany, there are currently disruptions in the networks of Vodafone, Telekom and many other providers.
Update from Tuesday, October 25, 10:33 a.m .:
Vodafone is currently experiencing a massive disruption.
Since around 9 a.m., the reports on the alle disturbances.de portal have been increasing sharply.
Accordingly, problems with the Internet in particular, but also total failures and problems with mobile communications are reported.
Also with the providers Telekom, O2, 1&1, German fiber optics, Congstar, Alditalk and Mobilcom Debitel there are currently problems according to alle disturbances.de.
Vodafone disruption: Nationwide problems with the Internet and landline
First report from Wednesday, October 19
: Kassel – Vodafone has had several disruptions since Tuesday evening (October 18).
Users from all over Germany are affected by failures and problems with the fixed network and the Internet via cable and DSL.
This is the result of reports received by the alle disturbances.de portal.
The number of error messages reached its peak around 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
However, numerous error messages are currently being received by alle disturbances.de.
Most disruptions in the Vodafone network therefore affect the following cities in Germany:
Laatzen
Hanover
Hamburg
Berlin
Stuttgart
meal
Frankfurt am Main
Munich
Dusseldorf
Elmshorn
Vodafone disruption: Defective cable in the Hanover area causes internet outages
According to media reports, the disturbances at Vodafone are due to conversion work and technical problems.
As the
Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung
reports, there are disruptions in Hanover and the surrounding area due to a defective cable.
As announced by Vodafone, the nationwide restrictions of the GigaTV Cable Box 2 and GigaTV Mobile App via cable have been resolved.
In some regions of Germany, however, consumers still have to reckon with restrictions in the areas of Internet, landline and TV via cable and DSL.
