Production of White Chocolate Pistachio Crunch Snowflakes at the Nestlé factory (PR)

You will have to believe us when we say that this is not an easy job, not easy at all.

To try all the new products that come out to the Israeli market (and sometimes outside of it as well), to taste in front of everyone, deliveries and more deliveries, paper bags that accumulate in the office (and at home), a never-ending feeling of satiety.

Seriously, it's harder than it looks, and no one is paying you to go to the gym, or compensating you for the FOMO that quickly develops in your mind.

For all the articles in the "New on the Shelf"

section, however, the "New on the Shelf" section, for its tasters, curious and loyal consumers, has set off again, determined and mission-oriented.

And this time - a happy move in the kingdom, a sweet-scary package in personal import and also a lot of ice cream.

Yes, we are very eclectic.

enjoy your meal!

Wafer and nuggets from the plant, Burger King and Meat. The End

A collaboration between the major hamburger brand and the Israeli food-tech company led to the creation of "Vegee Kings", and the establishment of a requested vegan pop-up, at the Dizengoff Center in Tel Aviv, which will soon spread throughout the country - and the entire world.

The new vegetarian category, which will initially be sold only in Israel, includes a vegetarian waffle (grilled vegetable patty, with tomato, onion, lettuce, ketchup, mayonnaise and pickle, NIS 29 per sandwich, NIS 48 with chips or onion rings, and a drink) and nuggets Vegetarians (22 shekels for six units, 30 for nine units, 36 for a dozen, or 37, 47 and 54 in a meal configuration, prices are the same as the chain's meat products).

The dishes, which join the existing vegan options of Burger King, and include corn nuggets and salads, are also in line for a crowd that "just" wants to diversify and reduce.

The sandwich provides a slightly smoked taste, with relatively juicy "meat" and a well-known and successful construction that frames everything into a good meal, and satisfies for any food preference.

The nuggets, with and without Dip, "disguise" themselves at the same level of efficiency, and represent a lighter option, and good in itself.

In four words: really not just for vegans.

New on the shelf

Stronger, and with even more crunch: what is the story of the new Bamba?

The Halloween collection, Showroom Bakehouse and Sweetwhite

The excellent corruption chain and the equally excellent candy company are collaborating with the import of Halloween to Israel, and are launching the Trick Or Treat collection, in a limited edition of course.

This sweet buffet of scares includes a chocolate cream-filled donut with chocolate coating and side sprinkles, a hershey's cream-filled Berliner covered with orange glaze, cookie crumbs and a tomb-shaped chocolate decoration, a bounty cream-filled cronut coated with white and red glaze with a knife-shaped chocolate decoration, as well as Sweetwit's side candy box.

The price of the box - NIS 109 - includes two pastries out of the three, and of course the box of sweets.

The design and packaging is spectacular as usual in the Webb family, but does not compromise on the very thing, which is an onslaught.

The donut was fresh and chocolatey, and its holiday decorations almost made us regret taking a bite because of their cuteness, the Berliner provided a similar experience of outside and inside, the cronut combined crunchiness and dirty fingers and finally came the sweets, to close a festive circle.

In three words: Treat, of course Treat.

Pint Milka and Oreo, Nestlé

A chocolate-ice cream collaboration has spawned three new Nestlé pints in freezers.

The move, which was implemented before the holidays but is equally suitable for the terrible days that follow, includes a pint of Milka vanilla ice cream with a milk chocolate core, a pint of Milka caramel ice cream with a chocolate core and a pint of Oreo ice cream with mini Oreos and cookie crumbs.

The Oreo was inaugurated first, with a successful and interesting combination of ice cream and good things that are not ice cream.

After that, the milkshakes were attached to the spoon, providing a good taste, relatively elegant sweetness, creamy ice cream and a more liquid core, ideal for texture games.

In two words: still holidays.

Guatemala capsules, Starbucks

The American coffee giant, marketed in Israel by Asem-Nestle, is launching a new blend aimed at lovers of fine coffee.

The capsules, with a light roast and a moderate strength of 5, were tried both as a short espresso and as part of a drink that combines milk, and provided a relatively mild coffee, without harsh sour flavors, and delicious.

In two words: soft landing.

Vanilla flavored oatmeal drink, Utley

And with the coffee: the big oat beverage company is expanding shelves with a new vanilla-flavored drink.

The carton (NIS 15.90) is first opened directly into the glass, as it is, and sipped with childlike pleasure.

The texture was smooth and pleasant, with a nice creamy touch, and the taste was sweet (and a little too sweet even, a matter that also somewhat negates all the health claims due to the added sugar).

It was very nice for those who like to sweeten their coffee, and ideal for a jumpy breakfast cereal.

Everything else is a bonus.

In three words: not just a replacement.

Patisserie cookies, Maraba

And to complete the circle, let's also eat something with the coffee: the very popular Dutch cookie company in Israel is launching an elaborate patisserie collection.

The launch includes, for now, three flavors - "Double Chocolate Patisserie" (chocolate chip cookies with dark chocolate and milk chocolate drops), "Nougatli Patisserie" (cookies with dark chocolate drops filled with hazelnut cream), "Soft Muffin Patisserie" ( Chocolate cookies embedded with milk chocolate, white chocolate and dark chocolate) - and it is expected to soon become stronger with coated cookies as well.

Price: NIS 10-13 for a 180-210 gram package.

The statements focused on the generous size of the cookies, sprinkles and filling and stood up well to the test of reality.

The cookies are very large, and function well as a single serving.

They are delicious, chocolaty, relatively rich for the genre and with easy heating in the microwave make almost any other option redundant.

In one word: more.
