A convicted double murderer and sex offender with necrophilic tendencies in England has confessed to further acts in a bizarre series of assaults on corpses.
Overall, he is said to have passed on the lifeless bodies of more than 100 women and girls.
The 68-year-old had already admitted to murdering two women aged 20 and 25 in 1987 and to having passed on their lifeless bodies.
In addition, between 2008 and 2020, the man said he abused the bodies of 78 women and girls in various mortuaries in the counties of Kent and Sussex, where he had worked as an electrician.
He was sentenced to life in prison last year.
Not all victims could be identified
The man has now confessed to assaulting the lifeless bodies of 23 other women at Croydon Crown Court in London, the British news agency PA reported.
A DNA analysis as part of the investigation into the two murders, which were carried out independently of one another, led to the capture of the man in 2020.
The morgue abuses came to light when investigators searched his home after his arrest and found hard drives on which the man had recorded videos of his actions.
He had to answer for that too.
Not all of the victims could be identified.
