It's Tuesday, November 8, at La Seine musicale, that the Parisian kick-off of the new production of the rock opera
Starmania
has been given.
Under the watchful eye of Quebecer Luc Plamondon, author of the libretto, an assembly of people slowly took their place in the Hauts-de-Seine room.
His compatriots Robert Charlebois and Fabienne Thibeault, who participated in the original cast, the singers Line Renaud and Clara Luciani, but also media personalities (Laurence Ferrari, Élisabeth Quin, Laurent Ruquier, Guy Carlier, Marc-Olivier Fogiel, the immarcescible Michel Drucker), a few actors (Mathilde Seigner, Vincent Cassel) and political figures (Anne Hidalgo, Rachida Dati and Brigitte Macron).
All had come to measure both their popularity and the relevance of a show created more than forty years ago at the Palais des Congrès.
